characters are great. You will want to keep on turning the pages. If you
are squeamish you might want to read it during the daylight hours. I

This is one of the best books I have read in a long time. I wish there
where more books out there that could hold my interest the way this one
did. It was the first book I read by this author, sure hope he has more

. The two shadows stepped silently into the room and closed the door behind them. They took positions on either side of the bed and carefully raised their weapons above their heads. The old woman stirred and opened her eyes. “Patrick,” she questioned, “Is that you?” “Yes Grandma it’s me,” answered the shadow with the hammer. Then swiftly the two murderers brought their weapons striking down on the old woman’s head killing her instantly. They paused once more to determine if they had been heard by anyone else in the house. There was neither, hue nor cry from within the old mansion. Their treacherous deed had gone unnoticed. “Now James, let’s go get Mother and sweet Aunt Sharon,” said the one called Patrick.
